I’m writing this from the Slug and Lettuce in Harborne after having been to the hospital for a routine appointment. Three bits of good news to share!
1) I don’t have to have a blood test next time! Although I’m not scared of needles at all, my veins are not very co-operative. The most painful bit is taking off the plaster afterwards, really! My platelets are at a vaguely normal level and I’m not currently on chemo, so there isn’t really any point in subjecting my arms to needles!
2) The Slug and Lettuce still do my favourite lasagne! I’m hoping it’s as good as the last time…
3) Most importantly, the results from my last scan showed that it has shrunk a bit! It’s always nice to be able to share good news – so here you go!
It shrunk! Hooray!
