Hello again! I’m spending most of this afternoon doing some publicity for the charity event I’m organising to raise money for the Brain Tumour Charity, and so I thought this would be a good place to spread awareness. I’d really appreciate it if people were able to come to support a really good cause. If you aren’t able to come (I realise it’s a long way to travel for lots of you!) but you still want to support it, I’ll be setting up online donations soon! If you are able to come, please do, and bring friends or partners or your cat! Most of the information is on the Facebook page but I know not everyone has Facebook so I’ve copied it below.
I hope to see you on the 14th March!
(Information from the Facebook event)
On the 14th March, St Faith and St Laurence’s church in Harborne, Birmingham will be hosting a Big Bake to raise funds for the Brain Tumour Charity – this is an invaluable organisation which provides support for patients and their families and research into brain tumours.
Entry is free, and there will be tea, coffee, cakes, a second hand bookstore as well as board games! More announcements to come! The venue is accessible but please do get in touch with any further questions, either here or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. All are welcome, and we would especially appreciate donations of cakes!
If you can’t come to the event, there will be the opportunity to donate online.
More information about the charity can be found here: https://www.thebraintumourcharity.org/
